Full-time 40-hour work weeks.
Support the Capital Assets Management Department.
Salary is up to $53,800.00 based on education and experience.
This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, OK with a rotation on-call shift.
Position Summary
As a member of the energy management team, this position will support the Facilities Energy/Operations Supervisor in maintaining the department’s energy goals. This position provides first response on work orders assigned to the Energy/Operations group and is the primary point of contact with our tenants when responding to assigned work orders.
Key Responsibilities
Works with the Energy/Operations Supervisor to maintain and improve the building automation systems. Monitors, tests, and repairs the building HVAC and automation systems and components to ensure proper operation.
Promote energy conservation in our facilities. Involve all personnel in taking ownership for success of the program
Respond to work orders assigned to the Energy/Operation group
Initiate required repairs associated with the building automation systems and HVAC systems
Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and associated mechanical systems
Assist the Energy Supervisor in developing procedures to consistently test and maintain critical components in the building automation system(s)
Monitor building automation systems with a proactive approach to resolving system issues.
Maintain repair/replacement part stock and ensure critical components are always on-hand
Assist the Energy Supervisor with tasks requiring field assistance or system monitoring
On-call after hours and weekend monitoring of state facilities is required on a rotating basis. Emergency on-site responses are sometimes required.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. This position requires standing, bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting, moving, and carrying up to 25/50 pounds, and climbing ladders/stairs. Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent AND four years of field experience in repairing and maintenance on Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and/or experience in Plumbing. Related training and college education courses will be considered in lieu of field experience.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess
Attention to detail.
Organizational skills.
Advanced customer service skills.
Ability to read and comprehend advanced repair schematics.
Preference will be given to those with building automation work experience utilizing electronic controls and a WEB based graphical interface.
