Description of Work

The primary purpose of this position is to provide clinical and administrative supervision, guidance, technical assistance, and support for the ITP Service Coordinators and other CDSA personnel who serve children referred to and enrolled in the NC Infant-Toddler Program.

This position is also responsible for hiring and training direct-service CDSA staff, coaching staff, completing work performance evaluations, and ensuring EISC and clinician compliance with State and Federal regulations for the Infant/Toddler Program. The position involves supervision of operations in the Pinehurst office of the Sandhills CDSA.

Along with the Director and other staff, this employee is also responsible for training/collaborating with other public and private providers of early intervention services and participates as a member of the CDSA Management Team in long-range planning, policy and procedure development, and budget management.

Work station: The work station for this position will be the CDSA office in Pinehurst, NC

Salary Grade Range $53,164 - $93,038

Recruitment Range $53,164 - $71,163

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:

  • Typical child development, developmental delays/disabilities, and established conditions used to support program eligibility.

  • Working with regulations, policies, evidence-based practices and techniques applicable to the NC Infant-Toddler Program. 

  • Planning, developing, directing, and evaluating Infant-Toddler services.

  • Medicaid service definitions and documentation requirements

  • Coordinating and instruct staff, family members, and providers in methods and techniques utilized in Early Intervention.

This position will close at 11:59 p.m. the night before the end date.

  • Master's degree in a human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of professional developmental disability or infant and child mental health experience preferably including administrative/supervisor experience; or
