Job Description:
Interns will gain experience in psychological assessments and risk assessments related to youth who sexually harm. This would include the following:
Conduct clinical interviews with youth at intake
Complete assigned biopsychosocial assessments
Administer personality assessments and IQ evaluations
Prepare monthly psychology reports
Calculate assessment scores and interpret results under supervision
Corporate with a multidisciplinary treatment team
This internship provides valuable, practical experience that supports clinical competence and professional development.

Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university (two-to-four-year institution) OR recently graduated (within one year) from an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university (two-to-four-year institution).
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate-level students enrolled in an APA approved psychology program
Ability to work at least 20-30 hours per week as need dictates
Commitment to ethical standards in clinical and assessment work
Must successfully complete background checks and required pre-service training
Previous experience and/or training in psychology, counseling, or related clinical setting
An interest in working with troubled youth
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
An interest in learning treatment approaches with traumatized youth
