Job Description:

The Supply Technician II at WEC Detention Facility is responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse, commissary, laundry, and chemical control operations in accordance with ICE National Detention Standards (NDS), Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) policy, and facility procedures. This position ensures supplies, materials, and chemicals are received, stored, inventoried, and distributed safely and efficiently. The Supply Technician II also provides direct supervision and training to detainee workers assigned to these areas, promoting safe work practices, accountability, and compliance with security and safety regulations.

Range of hourly rate is $15.005 - $22.119. Additional $3/hour facility differential for hours worked. Pay rate may be commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints, if approved.

The WEC Detention Facility houses adults who have been adjudicated and are awaiting deportation. Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: One year of experience in inventory, warehouse, material supply or other closely related field.

Other: Must have a valid driver's license.  Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. with assistance. Applicants accepting a job offer must pass the following pre-employment exams in this order: medical exam, and at a randomly announced time, pass a drug test.  Once at the Staff Training Academy, must successfully complete the fully paid Nebraska Corrections Training Program.
