Position Summary
Under general supervision, the Administrative Technician provides advanced technical and administrative support to the manager and team within the Staffing Department. This position plays a key role in processing, coordinating, tracking, and deploying nursing services department throughout the hospital to ensure patient care needs and efficient department operations.

Essential Job Duties

  • Perform advanced administrative support activities, including managing multiple databases, spreadsheets and software to accurately staff the patient care areas  with the appropriate licensed and unlicensed staff.
  • Compose, prepare, or track staff related information such as time and attendance and training.
  • Arrange schedules and prepare written records of information.
  • Collect, compile, and extract data from computer systems, databases, statistical, accounting, and administrative records.
  • Compile records and create reports, charts, and graphs, spreadsheet, and database software to support management decision-making.
  • Track and monitor program-related information and ensure accuracy and confidentiality of records.

Hours: 
Week 1 - Mon - Off, Tues/Wed - 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Thurs/Fri - Off
Sat/Sun - 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Week 2 - Mon - 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Tues - Off, Wed/Thurs/Fri 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Sat/Sun - Off


 

Requirements/ Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training or experience related to research, presentation, or publication in an area related to the programs or functions of the employing agency; business administration; accounting; customer service; and/ or technical support work, including use of computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and creating charts, graphs, and reports
  • Experience working with medical record systems

Other:

  • 19 years of age.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • This position requires proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the language effectively.
  • Some positions may require: experience and/or training that is unique to the work assigned; a valid driver’s license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation; and/or criminal history background checks and other specific background check protocols for their agency.
