In this role you will lead and develop a high‑performing sourcing team while shaping and executing distribution and transportation sourcing strategies that support Starbucks’ enterprise programs and long‑term business goals. You will inspire partners to do their best work, architect value through strategic sourcing, and collaborate across the organization to enable responsible growth.

As a mgr sr sourcing group, you will…

  • Lead and develop sourcing talent – Inspire, coach, and develop partners through clear expectations, meaningful goals, and ongoing performance and development conversations, including onboarding and skill development in sourcing best practices.

  • Deliver strategic sourcing leadership – Lead the development and execution of category sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, and risk management practices that support enterprise priorities and operational excellence.

  • Architect value for the business – Develop strategic and operational plans, measure results, and hold teams accountable while partnering with leadership to drive bottom‑line results, top‑line growth, and corporate social responsibility outcomes.



We’d love to hear from people with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 8+ years of sourcing experience preferred

If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
