In this role you will represent Starbucks brand in our Creamers and Instant Coffee categories, while supporting near-in innovation and marketing in partnership with Nestlé. You will ensure that the products, packaging, and marketing (down the aisle and out of store) elevate our brand and deliver on business objectives.

As a product manager, you will…

  • Assist in reporting our consumption and financial reports on a monthly basis to our leadership

  • Be the Starbucks Brand Steward to elevate and influence all marketing across Creamer, Instant Coffee and Hot Cocoa platforms for US and Canada markets

  • Manage packaging changes and updates to encourage a cohesive brand perspective

  • Guide and manage short-term innovation strategy and pipeline (<18 months) for designated platforms, including seasonal offerings to drive business results

  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to align and deliver on brand initiatives across multiple workstreams to drive efficiency and brand cohesion

  • Enjoy working with a collaborative, dynamic, and results-driven team



We’d love to hear from people with:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience or four years US military experience in a related MOS/C. MBA strongly preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to confidently present objectives and desired outcomes to leadership and cross functional teams

  • Ability to resolve issues or debates independently in most situations

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Progressive experience in product or brand management: 2-3 years

  • Ability to influencing others without authority to complete things in a timely manner

If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
