Are you a labor relations professional who thrives in fast-paced, people-centered environments? We’re seeking a manager of Labor Relations Campaigns to play a critical role in advancing proactive labor strategy, campaign readiness, and partner advocacy across our organization.

This role leads a team of 4- 5 Labor Relations professionals and serves as a key connector between field leadership and enterprise strategy. You will help translate national labor relations priorities into effective, on-the-ground execution while fostering trust, direct engagement, and alignment with our Mission & Values.


As manager, Labor Relations Campaigns, you will:

  • Lead a team of 4-5 Labor Relations professionals, providing day-to-day guidance, coaching, and development to drive strong performance and engagement.
  • Support and execute labor relations campaign strategies in partnership with Directors, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and regional business needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to field and regional leaders, guiding them through union-related activity and labor relations challenges with dignity, respect, and confidence.
  • Assess risk and vulnerability through data, leader capability, and environmental insights, and recommend proactive interventions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Partner Resources (HR), Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated and consistent campaign execution.
  • Deliver and facilitate labor relations training for leaders, building capability in direct engagement, lawful response, and partner advocacy.
  • Ensure compliance with labor and employment laws and internal policies, including NLRA and other applicable regulations.
  • Model inclusive and values-based leadership, embedding equity, accessibility, and respect into all labor relations practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying trends, sharing insights, and elevating feedback to inform broader strategy.


We’d love to hear from people with:

  • 5+ years of experience in labor relations, employee relations, or human resources, including exposure to union campaigns or organizing activity.
  • Prior people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
  • Working knowledge of labor law, campaign dynamics, and leader consultation best practices.
  • Strong consultation and influence skills, with the ability to build credibility at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data and insights to inform decisions and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in complex, fast-paced environments such as retail, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort navigating ambiguity and change.

If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
