We are looking for an innovative, forward-thinking, and highly skilled Production Designer to join our Content Innovation team. This person will be a self-motivated and open-minded candidate with strong visual design capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of how brand can express themselves across printed and digital brand ecosystem.  

 

As an associate manager, creative operations - Production Design, you will…  

·       Understand both design intention and production requirements, communicates concerns and questions in a thoughtful, constructive manner. 

·       Create templates and graphics files to correct specifications to ensure quality of design product for print or as delivery in a digital workspace. 

·       Participate on cross-functional teams to improve process and technical understanding. 

·       Be a passionate student of all things printed and digital media. 

·       Utilize and contribute to design systems, design templates and component libraries 

·       Have a solid understanding of design principles and best practices in printed and digital (e.g. typography, color theory, layout, information hierarchy) 



We’d love to hear from people with: 

·       Previous production experience designing across print, mobile and/or web experiences at consumer-focused brands, agencies, or color house. 

·       Experienced in deciphering and delivering artwork against technical specifications, ink/special treatments, color separations, print-ready art required 

·       Portfolio that showcases your contribution to print-ready art and/or interactive consumer facing experiences and demonstrates originality, innovation, and strong problem-solving skills. 

·       Expert level in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.

If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

 

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
