About this role
<p>We’re on the hunt for a Sales, Functions and Wedding Specialist to join our Marketing team. Reporting through to the Regional Sales Lead, you’ll have the opportunity to make the role your own and be responsible for managing and maintaining our events enquiries across Star Group venues, including high-volume flagship sites like Foxglove Bar and Restaurant.</p><p>You’ll ensure all events are booked and professionally managed with a focus on smooth handovers, maximising customer spend and delivering excellent guest experiences. You’ll play a key role in driving repeat business by nurturing both new and existing customer accounts, while maintaining strong communication with clients and venue teams.</p><p>In this exciting role, you will:</p><ul><li><p>Follow up with all event enquiries</p></li><li><p>Front customer communication</p></li><li><p>Capture all event and booking information</p></li><li><p>Handle event booking forms and payment advice</p></li><li><p>Support the Star Group Sales team in developing key client accounts</p></li><li><p>Source details of all potential events, tasking future booking opportunities</p></li><li><p>Support and assist the Sales Manager and Star Group Team with projects and tasks as required</p></li><li><p>Coordinate all aspects of wedding events, including pre-event consultations, planning sessions, and day-of coordination.</p></li><li><p>Meeting with clients in venue, weekly operations meeting with the team, minimum of two days week in venue.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate logistics and communicate event details with all vendors to ensure seamless execution.</p></li><li><p>Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning process and for their events, functions and wedding day.</p></li></ul><p>This role requires someone with a passion for hospitality, excellent communication and organisational skills, and experience in a customer-focused or event-related environment.<br></p>
