About the Role
Staples is seeking an experienced Agile Coach to empower our engineering managers, product managers, and teams in Chennai. You’ll champion the Staples Ways of Working, helping teams deliver value through Agile practices, a culture of excellence, and a people-first mindset.
What You’ll Do
Coach engineering managers, product managers, and teams on Agile mindset, SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
Mentor Scrum Masters and junior Agile coaches, building facilitation and coaching skills.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, workshops, and cross-team collaboration.
Guide Product Owners in defining and prioritizing outcomes.
Remove delivery roadblocks and proactively address risks.
Use Jira and EasyBI to drive actionable metrics and continuous improvement.
Foster alignment and transparency with US-based product managers and global teams.
Promote a culture of learning, caring, and high performance.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Jira Align or other portfolio-level Agile tools.
Strong understanding of both Agile and traditional project management.
Ability to design and improve workflows above the team level.

7+ years of Agile experience, with hands-on coaching in SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
Strong facilitation, mentoring, and communication skills.
Proven experience with Jira, EasyBI, and Power BI for Agile metrics and reporting.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent; advanced certifications (A-CSM, CSP, SAFe SSM) preferred.
Experience in large-scale Agile environments (SAFe, LeSS, or similar).
Ability to work independently, handle complex issues, and mentor others.
Bachelor’s degree required.
