Some of what you will do:
As a Sr. Manager, Project Management – Marketing, you will be the strategic and operational lead overseeing large-scale, cross-functional creative initiatives. You’ll partner closely with internal teams, and external vendors to deliver outstanding creative and production work — on time, on budget, and on brand. You’re a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and knows how to bring structure, clarity, and inspiration to complex projects.
Specifically, You Will:
- Act as the senior point of contact for key stakeholders (i.e. business partners, integrated marketing, creative, marketing ops etc.), translating business goals into clear project vision, success metrics, and actionable creative and production plans.
- Lead multiple initiatives that involve both internal & external partners from scoping through delivery, owning timelines, budgets, forecasting, risk mitigation, and overall project health.
- Establish and enforce consistent project management methodologies, workflows, tools (e.g., Workfront), and governance to drive efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Manage broader Marketing team capacity and resource allocation in partnership with functional leads, ensuring optimal utilization and proactive staffing planning.
- Lead and mentor project and production managers, setting an example as a can-do leader who leads through influence—fostering accountability, collaboration, and a high-performance culture that empowers teams to do their best work.
- Serve as the connective tissue across marketing, creative, digital, and production teams—facilitating alignment, decision-making, and clear reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes.
Some of what you need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, project management, marketing, or related field.
- Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) is an asset.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- A balance of creative intuition and operational discipline.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Function Point, Wrike, Asana, Smartsheet, etc.) and financial tracking systems.
- Knowledge of marketing operations and creative workflows is an asset.
- 8–10+ years of experience in project management, production, or operations within a creative, advertising, digital agency, or internal agency. Agency experience is an asset.
- Proven experience leading large, integrated campaigns or multi-market programs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong background in workflow management, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement. Strong understanding of creative, digital, and media workflows.
- Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience guiding cross-functional teams to achieve objectives efficiently and on time.
