Our Asset Strategies Group is growing, and as such we are seeking a talented Principal Asset Management Engineer to join our New South Wales team based in Newcastle.  

In this position you will play an integral role amongst a diverse group of highly skilled professionals that ‘design with community in mind’ to deliver asset management excellence for our clients. You will join a dynamic and skilled team that works on asset management and advisory projects, not only locally, but across the APAC region.

 

As a Principal Asset Management Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Development of strategic artefacts, such as asset management plans, policies, objectives and levels of service

  • Asset management planning, operations and maintenance

  • Data collection and analysis, including site inspections and occasional travel to client locations

  • Asset valuations and develop asset management solutions for clients

  • Financial management and lifecycle cost modelling

  • Managing existing client relationships while seeking new business opportunities

  • Research and investigation to determine commercial solutions for clients

  • Project management and delivery, ensuring work is of a technically high standard and within time and budget constraints

  • Prepare work plan and resource schedule for projects

  • Make independent decisions and provide guidance and assist with the development of junior staff

 

 

So, what do you need to bring to take your career to the next level?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or other relevant discipline, coupled with a dual qualification in Business Management, Finance or Economics is favourable

  • Demonstrated experience in asset management and the provision of infrastructure advisory services

  • High level report writing skills

  • Well-developed communication and negotiation skills

  • Research skills and the ability to interact and deliver technical information to clients

  • Have full Australian Working rights.
