Your Opportunity
Your role is to work with guidance and direction on tasks and smaller projects, and as a team member of a larger project under the guidance of a Senior Engineer. You will participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and specification for engineered systems or products for a project verifying compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards/practices.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with and assist Building Mechanical Engineers and Designers
- Interpret architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural and civil plans
- Perform engineering calculations using HVAC design software and Excel
- Use AutoCAD and Revit to prepare HVAC and plumbing drawings and details
- Learn to apply fundamental engineering principles to solve real-world problems
- Collaborate with and support multi-disciplinary project team(s)
Participate in Summer Intern Design Project with interns of other building design disciplines

What you'll do
- Interns will assist Building Mechanical Engineers and Designers, interpreting various engineering plans and performing calculations. They will also collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams and participate in a Summer Intern Design Project.
