Your Opportunity
An opportunity exists for a Mechanical Engineering Intern.
Your Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate should have a basic understanding of Mine Ventilation and Industrial Ventilation concepts. Specific duties will include
- Collection of pre-design information from sites or existing drawings
- Design calculations and equipment selections
- Ventilation system design
- Preparation of mechanical drawings from sketches or mark-ups
- Preparation of mechanical specifications
- Working in a team-based environment
- Assistance to engineers and project managers in:
- Support of project coordination and management
- Site reviews and attendance at site meetings
- Preparation of technical reports

What you'll do
- The intern will assist in the collection of pre-design information, perform design calculations, and prepare mechanical drawings and specifications. They will also support project coordination and management, attend site meetings, and prepare technical reports.
