About this role

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  1. Design electrical power systems for data centers, including:

    Medium and low voltage distribution systems

    UPS systems, battery systems, and generators

    Power distribution units (PDUs), switchgear, and busways

    Grounding, bonding, and lightning protection systems

  2. Develop single-line diagrams, layouts, load calculations, and technical specifications.
  3. Perform power system studies such as short circuit, load flow, coordination, and arc flash (as required).
  4. Optimize designs for reliability, redundancy (Tier I–IV), scalability, and energy efficiency.
  5. International Codes & Standards
  6. Ensure designs comply with international and local electrical codes and standards, including but not limited to:

    IEC, IEEE, NFPA, NEC

    Uptime Institute, TIA-942, EN standards

  7. Adapt designs to regional regulations, utility requirements, and climatic conditions.
  8. Project Coordination
  9. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, architectural, IT, and controls).
  10. Interface with clients, consultants, vendors, and utility providers across different countries.
  11. Support technical reviews, design workshops, and value engineering sessions.
  12. Documentation & Deliverables
  13. Prepare and review design reports, calculations and drawing..
