Your Opportunity
Stantec is looking for an intern for our Fargo, ND location to work primarily within our environmental, engineering, and construction team within Environmental Services. Opportunities exist to support other civil, infrastructure and environmental groups in Fargo, dependent on workload.
As an intern, you can expect to carry out a variety of different tasks related to engineering and construction. The primary duties for this internship position will entail construction observation, QA/QC testing, and communication with contractors and clients. The wide variety of tasks you’ll be involved in makes every day interesting by expanding your knowledge as you gain field and office experience. Your Key Responsibilities

- Construction observation and documentation, field testing and field measurements (construction CQA).
- Construction progress reports and communicate with project team, contractor, and client as required.
- Soil and water sampling.
- Assist with drafting, computer modeling, data entry, preparation of construction plans and specifications, technical memos, and reports, as required.
- Provide support to other groups within Stantec, as business needs dictate and workload allows, for exposure to other disciplines and client types related to engineering and environmental science.

What you'll do
