We have a strong people-first culture, a record-setting safety record, and we leverage technology to enhance the effectiveness of project</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Perform under general supervision all aspects of installation, alteration, demolition, maintenance and/or repair of electrical systems, conductors, assemblies, and associated materials and equipment on all type of projects within the electrical construction industry. The&nbsp;</p> <p>Electricians Helper must demonstrate the mechanical aptitude, mathematical skills, and literacy skills commensurate to the satisfactory completion of the following position's primary duties and responsibilities.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform the basic tasks of material handling, jobsite housekeeping, tool and equipment maintenance, and general labor.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Dig trenches and excavations by use of hand tools and power equipment under general supervision.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist in underground conduit installation.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist in mounting, securing, and installing electrical raceways, fixtures, and systems.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist in wire pulling procedures.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assemble pre-fabricated systems under general supervision.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform all tasks in a timely manner.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Understand and follow jobsite directions and instructions, both written and verbal.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Models professional behavior in accordance with Stansell Electric's Core Values, Purpose, and Injury Free safety guidelines.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Understand/Perform other project related duties and assignments as instructed by supervision.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>The preceding covers the primary duties and responsibilities of the position. It should not be construed as a complete listing of all miscellaneous, incidental, or similar duties that may be required from day to day.</u></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Physical Standards:</u></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Position Requires:</strong></p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lifting 51 pounds, unassisted, multiple times per day.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Constantly moving about on the feet.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Completing a full day’s assignments involving one or more of the following; bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, reaching over head, and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Operating two handed tools/equipment such as cable cutters, hammer drills, and saws.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Operating aerial personnel lifts.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Wearing all personal protective equipment at all times as required by the specific task; eye and face protection, steel toe leather work boots, hand protection, head protection, respirator, etc.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Climbing and working from all types of ladders; step ladders up to 14’, “A” frame ladders, and all size extension ladders.
