About this role

  • Exposure in Design Engineering preferably from Fastener Industry or metal forming industry.
  • Able to design structural blind rivets as well as threaded fasteners (Bolts and Nuts)
  • Good knowledge in forging, secondary process machines, Tool design & Product designs.
  • “First time right” while developing Fasteners.
  • Optimizing the process and process flow while developing Fasteners& updating the Design for Manufacturing updates.
  • Identifying proper Indigenous tool manufacturer of Fasteners to Optimizing tool life and cost.
  • Good exposure in tech review, both design and joint application perspective.
  • Follow Initial protocols strictly & bring in strong technical flair and Standards knowledge.
  • Good knowledge in APQP, PPAP and FMEA, IATF 16949, Fastener international Standards.
  • Good knowledge in Auto Cad 2015 version or more and Catia V5 or equivalent CAD software.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
