Responsibilities:
Perform repair process by applying current & approved technical data and job instructions
Set up, operate and maintain EBW, TIG, VFS, Chemical Cleaning Line, Hot Press equipment using approved job instructions and SOP.
Perform burnout cycle for VFS as per approved schedule. Coordinate with Maintenance Team to remove and clean chemical tanks as per approved schedule.
Perform daily 5S and machine preventive maintenance using approved PM checklist
Perform simple machine trouble shooting; solve technical issues and problems where appropriate in daily work.
Maintain tooling and fixtures for EBW, TIG, VFS, Hot Press and Chemical Cleaning process, segregate worn out tooling and fixtures and report to OM for action.
Participate in audits, inspections, new product development and CI programs when required.
Comply with and support EHS, Quality, Code of Ethics and all Company rules and regulations
To train others and to be trained to upgrade skills levels continually.
Assist Operations Leaders in their day-to-day operations to achieve company goals
Carry out any other duties when assigned from time to time
Skills Requirements:
Operate lifting equipment, EBW and TIG equipment, Vacuum Furnace, Hot Press, Chemical Cleaning Line
Handle common measurement instruments/ devices.
Perform dimensional and geometric measurements.
Use hand tools.
Operate lifting equipment, Blending machine and other operations equipment
Awareness and understanding of Basic Human Factors and Error Management
Self- disciplined and able to communicate effectively and work as a team.
Apply workplace safety and health practices and perform basic safety practices and documentation.
Apply 5S and basic CI techniques in the workplace.
Qualifications:
NITEC in Precision Machining/Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics
Experience in TIG and / or EB Welding, Heat Treat, Chemical Cleaning process preferably in MRO environment.
Work Conditions:
Overtime may be required to meet customer expectations
Standing for extended periods of time.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate machinery, lifting devices, and computer.
Physically able to lift heavy part; participate in production trials and product/process training.
