About this role

We have an immediate opening for a Mechanic I, Components for the Component Services, Operations Department, Richmond. This position will report to the Manager, Component Services. The incumbent will be based in Richmond, BC. 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Repair and overhaul of Airbus Dynamic Components 

Dis-assemblies and Sub-assemblies of all dynamic components 

Inspection of Components modules 

Completion of relevant paperwork 

Adherence to aviation regulations and to company processes

 

Applicable qualifications, attributes and competencies are: 

  • Minimum one to three (1-3) years’ experience with repair and overhaul of aircraft maintenance background i.e. Gearbox, MRH, Components. 

  • Formal, recognized engine/dynamic components training (BCIT or equivalent) on gas turbine or AME 

  • Highly flexible and motivated individual 

  • Ability to work independently and effectively as a team member 

  • Willing to work overtime as needed 

  • Must be able to produce high quality work in a timely manner 

  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills 

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and interest
