As a Parts Cleaner, you will perform chemical and mechanical cleaning of parts and other metal products by hand, solvent bath or other processes to remove unwanted materials.
What you’ll do:
Perform incoming, in-process and final cleaning methods and processes as required.
Dry part whether by the usage of hot water tank, air dry, or oven dry.
Master the use of all cleaning equipment and their maintenance according to the schedule, or as requested by direct lead, or supervisor.
Properly maintain all working areas on daily basis by means of sweeping, mopping and removal of waste container.
Sort and prepare items to be processed having previously read all working instructions.
Clean and maintain cleaning tanks and maintain their optimal working level and concentrations following the recommendations provided by engineering.
Participate and promote continuous improvement processes
Be open to learn new skills and Cross train other employees when required in support of production and company goals.
Observe all applicable safety requirements by the use of assigned PPE and notify direct supervisor of any discrepancy or risk.
Perform any other duties assigned.
