Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Welders to join a leading fabrication facility in Catoosa. This long-term, direct hire role includes a $500 sign-on bonus after 60 days. As a Welder, you will work with advanced welding equipment to complete structural and fabrication projects while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Required Weld Test – Welders
• 2G Pulse Arc Weld Test
• Must demonstrate proficiency in Pulse Arc welding processes
• Must meet all test requirements to qualify as a Welder
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Operate welding equipment using a variety of welding processes to meet quality standards
• Weld fabricated parts of structural metal products; plan sequence of operations
• Obtain and install electrodes or consumable wire into welding gun
• Set amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse settings per procedures
• Start power supply, strike arc, and weld according to specifications
• Guide electrode or welding gun along weld line, maintaining proper arc length and travel speed
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
• Inspect welds for bead size, appearance, penetration, and adherence to specifications
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a Welder in a fabrication or industrial environment
• Ability to read and follow weld procedures
• Proficient in Pulse Arc welding processes
• Ability to weld in multiple positions
• Strong understanding of welding parameters and safety practices
