• Position Overview
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting aerospace machined products to ensure compliance with customer requirements, engineering specifications, and quality standards. This Quality Control Inspector role works closely with Operations and uses precision inspection equipment to verify product conformity and support First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements.
• Required Experience & Skills
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality role
• Aerospace manufacturing experience required
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience with analytical tools such as spreadsheets and database systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and database systems
• Degree in a related field preferred
• Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Inspect finished goods to ensure compliance with customer and engineering specifications
• Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) and other inspection tools
• Perform and support First Article Inspections (FAI) and required documentation
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure high-quality product delivery
• Support quality system requirements and additional inspection duties as assigned
