• Position Overview
The Production Lead plays a key role in overseeing daily production activities, maintaining workflow efficiency, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met across all departments. This Production Lead role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring others and thrives in a fast-paced industrial setting.
• Required Experience & Skills
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience (leadership experience preferred)
• Forklift experience required (certification provided)
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to lead effectively in a diverse team environment
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
• Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead and support team members to achieve production, quality, and scheduling goals
• Coordinate daily production schedules and employee rotations for optimal workflow
• Safely monitor and operate machinery, following Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures
• Step in across production areas as needed to maintain steady operations
• Train and mentor new employees while encouraging ongoing skill development
• Promote a safety-first, organized, and clean work environment
• Foster teamwork, positivity, and servant leadership principles
• Serve as backup to the Production Supervisor when required
• Preferred Education
• Additional technical or leadership training is a plus
