• Position Overview
The Assembly role supports the production of industrial heat exchangers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This Assembly position focuses on tube lacing and component alignment within heat exchanger units while working as part of a collaborative production team. The Assembly technician must be detail-oriented and comfortable with hands-on mechanical work.
• Required Experience & Skills
• Prior mechanical or industrial assembly experience preferred
• Experience with tube lacing or tube bundle environments is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions
• Comfortable using hand tools and measuring tools (tape measure, calipers)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Lace and align tubes within heat exchanger bundles to specification
• Support heat exchanger Assembly processes including structural components
• Use hand and shop tools to assist with lacing and unit assembly
• Perform quality checks to ensure tube spacing and placement meet standards
• Follow daily production schedules and complete assigned tasks on time
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
• Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• Industrial, non-climate-controlled facility
• Exposure to noise, dust, and metal particles
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding work
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and overhead work required
