Description
We are seeking a friendly, professional Part-Time Concierge to serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, organization, and creating a warm, welcoming environment in a senior living community.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist residents, families, and visitors; ensure proper sign-in procedures
- Answer and route incoming phone calls; take accurate messages
- Assist visitors in locating resident rooms and community areas
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby
- Announce arrivals and appointments to appropriate staff
- Provide general information about the community and services
- Assemble and maintain admission and information packets
- Sort and distribute mail as requested
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information
- Support emergency procedures and drills as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written)
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work well with residents, families, and team members
- Compassionate, professional, and dependable
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow policies and procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- 1+ years of administrative experience preferred
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to move throughout the workday
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work with elderly residents, including those who may be ill or emotionally distressed
- Participation in emergency drills and evacuation procedures as needed
Health & Compliance
- Annual TB screening required
- Completion of all required training
- Adherence to all facility policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards
