Ready to do work that actually excites you?The Project Support Officer is responsible for providing support to Project Managers and project team/s on multiple concurrent projects to ensure projects operate in accordance with contractual obligations, legislation and Bryant policies and procedures.
Reports to: Project Manager
Main external customers: Clients, Suppliers, Subcontractors
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the kind of person who:
- Assist Project Managers with subcontractor management - collect all relevant and up to date information, requesting new information when it is out of date
- Raise, issue and close out/ complete purchase orders
- Purchase order / invoice reconciliation
- Ensure effective project coordination by providing comprehensive administrative project support such as completing and managing project templates, completing project documentation, preparing procurement requests and scheduling meetings and functions liaising with relevant stakeholders
- Management of all project documentation, including but not limited to project registers, quality assurance, client hand over reports, test reports etc. and including file management
- Participation in Operational Meetings as required
- Collate project specific personnel, training and competency records in preparation for commencement of works
- Assist in programming and planning of the projects as required using appropriate tools
- Maintain an overview of the projects, monitoring the status of the projects on time, finance, quality and deliverables and advising the respective manager in case of major deviations from the planning
- Respond to project inquiries and help resolve problems arising in projects
- Follow up relevant project personnel to ensure that scheduled reporting requirements are met
- Preparation and completion of project manuals
- Comply with Bryant Integrated Management System procedures and support continuous improvement
- Comply with relevant legislation and regulations
- Challenge unsafe behaviour/attitude at any level when encountered
- Act in the company’s best interest at all times, in line with company objectives and policies
- Work in such a manner that Integrated Management Plans and statutory requirements are met or exceeded
- Take all reasonable steps to prevent pollution and protect the environment
- Take reasonable care and comply with all Work Health and Safety rules, policies and procedures
- Other duties as requested by Directors

- Ability to interpret plans and drawings
- Demonstrated ability in information, communications and technology
- Competent in writing business letters, quotations, tenders and proposals
- Drivers Licence (preferred) Photo ID
