Saint Joseph's Medical Center is seeking per diem Armed Security Officers. Will protect patients, visitors, and employees across the hospital campus. Will respond to emergency situations, alarms, and other safety incidents. Experience in the use of verbal de-escalation skills to resolve incidents on hospital property. Assist with visitor management and perform escorts when needed. Perform patrols on foot and/or vehicle throughout hospital grounds. Ability to write accurate and detailed incident reports. Will liaison with local law enforcement agencies when needed. Armed Security Officer will be a uniformed position and will be required to stand for extended periods of time. May be exposed to or required to handle sensitive and confidential information. Vacancies will be for the morning, evening, and overnight shifts. Law enforcement experience preferred.
