Exciting opportunities currently exist for experienced Theatre Technicians, across our four sites. As a casual - Resource Unit staff member you will have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts across our main theatres.

We have a variety of shifts available 6-, 8- & 10-hour shifts enabling a positive balance between work and personal life.

ABOUT YOU:

The successful applicant will be responsible for;

  • Assisting the Surgeon and Nursing Staff with surgical procedures through provision, operation and maintenance of theatre equipment and the positioning / preparation of patients.

  • Facilitating efficient Perioperative processes and ensure the smooth operation and running of Perioperative Services

  • Ensuring equipment and stock are available at all times for the other Perioperative Services staff.

What you need:

  • Certificate 3 in Health Services Assistance (operating Theatre Support) from an accredited institution

  • Previous experience as a Theatre Technician

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
