  • Salary: $71,072.43 - $73,287.41 + super + salary packaging

About the role

  • Be the welcoming face of a leading teaching hospital, creating a positive first impression for every patient and visitor

  • Keep the patient journey running smoothly—from arrival to discharge—by supporting clinical teams behind the scenes

  • Engage with a diverse mix of healthcare professionals, patients, and external partners every day

  • Take ownership of key admin tasks, including managing bookings, capturing payments, and answering enquiries with confidence

  • Play a vital role in a high-performing team by maintaining a professional appearance and strong front-desk presence

  • Primarily Monday – Friday working commitment with the occasional Saturday shift in place of another day.

About you

  • A friendly, confident communicator who enjoys being the welcoming first point of contact for patients and visitors

  • Experience in administration or customer service, ideally within healthcare or a busy service environment, with a genuine focus on helping others

  • Calm and adaptable, able to juggle multiple tasks while responding thoughtfully to patient and clinical needs

  • Naturally organised with strong attention to detail, taking pride in delivering high-quality service

  • Presents professionally, values punctuality, and is motivated to represent the hospital with care, integrity and respect

In this role you will be based at St Vincent’s hospital, Darlinghurst.

  • Closely partnered with universities & affiliated research institutes, many of which are located on campus

  • Centres of excellence include heart & lung transplantation, bone marrow transplantation, cardiology, cancer care, AIDS/HIV, respiratory medicine, mental health, homeless health, drug & alcohol services, and correctional health
