About the Role
The Library Officer undertakes tasks that contribute to the Library Service, including primarily assisting with interlibrary loans, shelving, processing book loans, processing room bookings, and answering queries via phone or email.

Duties may include

  • Assist with processing of interlibrary loans

  • Answer enquiries from Library clients in person or by phone or email

  • Shelving of books

Classifications for this position will range from HS1 - HS17 ($58,442.00 - $64,610.00 per annum, pro rata for part time).

Your Contribution

  • Experience working in a library

  • Experience in using Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

The St Vincent’s Hospital Library Service, based at the Fitzroy campus, provides access to a range of information resources for staff and students on placement at the Hospital.
