ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for leadership and operational support of all the Engineering trade Staff for St Vincent’s Private Melbourne Hospitals site/s across Victoria (Fitzroy / East Melbourne / Kew / Werribee campus). The Engineering Supervisor is also responsible for providing support to other departments and a close liaison with outsourced services to ensure management and maintenance of facilities within SVPHM. They will contribute to the planning and implementation of building refurbishment, site development, and building works. This role also holds responsibility for the management, for the provision of Security and Biomedical Engineering across all SVPHM sites.

The role will be responsible for managing the R&M works and PM schedules across respective site/s, in Victorian sites. This role will be a working 38 hours per week and will be pivotal in providing the maintenance and repair of plant and equipment across all sites.

ABOUT YOU:
As an outstanding Engineering Supervisor, you are a master at Electrical/mechanical trade with experience to repair and maintenance, fault finding, documentation, new installations, preventative maintenance and routine servicing.

Your skills will include:
Minimum Tertiary Qualification in Engineering (or equivalent) in either Electrical, Mechanical or Structural with at least 3 years of experience in similar role.

Have a working knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations and legislation .

Ability to maintain collaborative and effective relationships with all multidisciplinary team members
Ability to lead and work as part of a team
Ability to find creative solutions to challenges
