Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): 

Students work with Biology Department Faculty to prepare for labs. Students also assist Faculty and students during lab sessions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Help prepare lab session materials                       Assist students during lab sessions

 Clean and organize lab                                         Correct lab manuals/classroom work

 Safely dispose of lab waste using autoclave        

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)

 Successful completion of the lab student is assisting         Dependable and punctual

 Experience with lab solution/reagent making                      Experience with a diverse array of 

 Able to work with minimal supervision                                   lab equipment

 Knowledge of lab safety procedures
