Your role at St John of God Health Care
As a Senior Internal Auditor your primary role is to support the design and delivery of the internal audit plan to support our organisation to achieve its operational objectives. You will deliver internal audits, monitor and report on outcomes, and provide assurance over material risks and strategic projects in the context of the Internal Audit Plan.
The Position
Develop internal audit scopes and internal audit control assurance programs.
Perform risk assessments to identify key focus areas for an internal audit.
Deliver internal audits, following the agreed methodology, to assess the effectiveness of the control environment.
Perform control testing and document outcomes.
Develop clear, risk-based internal audit reports outlining outcomes of reviews, including observations and practical recommendations.
Engage with key stakeholders to present and discuss internal audit finding, validate factual accuracy and support the development of practical, fit-for-purpose recommendations.
Work alongside internal audit co-sourced partners to support effective delivery and quality outcomes.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the organisation’s assurance map.
Follow up on the implementation of agreed internal audit actions and
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the internal audit methodology and ways of working
You will have significant experience in delivering internal audits in line with well-established methodologies and professional standards, as well as experience in leveraging technology, systems or tools to enhance audit and assurance outcomes. You will demonstrate a style that is collaborative, inclusive holistic, inclusive and exemplifies servant leadership.
To succeed you will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in either accounting, finance, business, risk, or a related discipline, and/or professional certification aligned to internal audit or assurance (e.g. CIA, CA, CPA)
Experience in the Healthcare Industry is desirable.

Salary $124,196 to $137,946 plus 12% Superannuation
Permanent fulltime position working 76 hours a fortnight
Located in Perth CBD office with 40% work from home option
