Your role at St John of God Murdoch Hospital
We are currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our Cath Lab, Angiography Day Procedure Unit and Recovery Unit. As a member of our experienced and dedicated team, you will be responsible for the provision of a high standard of patient care in a safe and effective manner.
You will become part of a dynamic and committed team of caregivers, working with leading medical experts including cardiologists, vascular surgeons, radiologists and other heart specialists. Using the latest technology and treatment you will work together to achieve best practice outcomes, clinical excellence, provide exceptional care and a first-class patient experience.
The Position
Maintain and develop clinical skills in order to care for patients appropriate to level of competence.
Deliver a high standard of patient care utilizing appropriate resources cost effectively.
Adhere to and supports hospital policies, procedures and standards.
Act as the patient’s advocate and facilitate the rights of individuals.
Provide patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
Participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care through the continuum of care.
Prioritise workload using resources effectively.
Provide supervision to Enrolled Nurses, students and PCAs as required
You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
Current Cath Lab / Angiography experience is essential for the role. Angiography recovery and/or procedural room experience will be highly regarded.

We can offer
Salary: $82,945 to $106,630 per annum, (pro rata for part-time) plus 12% superannuation
$52.30 to $67.24 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% superannuation
Permanent full-time, part-time and casual positions available
