Our Training & Simulation Systems business has close to 40 years of experience in delivering innovative learning, training, and simulation solutions to customers in the defence, public safety and security, and enterprise domains. The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end planning, execution and delivery of private cloud software implementation projects. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams—including infrastructure, DevOps, cybersecurity, compliance and business stakeholders—to ensure timely deployment of scalable, secure and resilient cloud environments tailored for enterprise workloads.

Project Management:

• Develop detailed project plans with clearly defined timelines, deliverables and success criteria.
• Manage full project lifecycle from requirements gathering through design, implementation, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.
• Track and report progress to leadership and stakeholders, managing risks and resolving issues.

Stakeholder Coordination:

• Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders during the implementation process.
• Facilitate cross-functional coordination between engineering, operations, cybersecurity and business units.

Technical Oversight:

• Work closely with solution architects and engineering teams to ensure technical alignment with private cloud standards (e.g. OpenStack, VMware, Kubernetes).
• Ensure infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD integration, identity management and compliance frameworks  are in place.

Vendor and Resource Management:

• Coordinate with vendors, cloud service providers and third-party integrators as needed.
•  Manage internal and external team resources to ensure workload balancing and task completion.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Oversee adherence to data sovereignty, privacy and security requirements.
• Ensure all activities comply with enterprise policies and industry best practices.

Qualities We Value 

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure or software deployment projects, with at least 3 years in cloud environments.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified
• Hands-on familiarity with private cloud technologies (e.g., VMware, OpenStack, Red Hat, Nutanix).
• Familiarity with IM8, Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) and Classified Cloud (MCC) environments.
• Experience in agile and waterfall methodologies; hybrid delivery model experience is a plus.
• Understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC), containers, automation (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and service orchestration.
