Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day to day steelworks supervision for preventive, corrective maintenance and modification of vessels
• Prepare, coordinate and monitor work schedule to achieve delivery deadline and targets
• Perform QC check on works
• Manage daily manpower deployment
• Perform site inspection and work discussion
• Preparation and submission of field reports / service acceptance to owner and SRM for approval
• Provide logistic support e.g indent of spares and follow up
• Maintain safe work practices

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical or Marine engineering field
• Preferably with 2-5 years’ working experience in marine related industry
• Knowledge of ship repairs, steelworks, fabrication works and NDT will be advantageous
• Able to read drawings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in supervising workers and subcontractors in yard environment
• Proficient in MS Words, Excel, Powerpoint for reporting purpose
