DIRECT HIRE: Seeking an Industrial Maintenance Manager for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Southbridge, MA.
This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k!
Salary Range: $110K - $120K per year (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Support hiring, training, and scheduling of maintenance staff
- Oversee daily work, performance, and corrective actions
- Lead, train, and mentor maintenance teams, including supervisors, mechanics, and technicians
- Use CMMS to manage work orders, schedules, budgets, and maintenance records
- Develop and track preventative/predictive maintenance programs
- Coordinate with production to align maintenance with schedules and minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean and reliability practices
- Manage department budget, vendor relationships, and spare parts inventory
- Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and company policies
- Monitor KPIs and report on equipment performance, costs, and safety
- Remain on-call for after-hours plant issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/industrial technology or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance management
- Strong technical knowledge of automation, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Experience with lean manufacturing, CMMS, and interpreting technical manuals/blueprints
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software
- Ability to inspect facilities, perform repairs, and navigate job sites
- Capable of standing, climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working near heat, noise, gas, and chemicals
