SAP Basis Engineer with German

Your responsibilities will include ensuring the smooth operation of SAP systems through tasks such as patching, configuration, performance tuning, and security management. Under the guidance of highly experienced senior engineers, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical support for multiple SAP applications. Your efforts will be vital in maintaining the stability and scalability of our SAP environments, ensuring they align with business goals and objectives.</span></p><h3><strong>Main responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li><p><span>Service delivery for multiple international customers. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Regular communication and interaction with customers.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Day to day operation support of SAP systems. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Performance analysis and tuning of SAP and underlying database and operating system. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Planning and execution of client and system copies according to customer requirements. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Installation of SAP and Database patches. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Analysis and elimination of SAP and database errors. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Working with multiple teams (OS, DB, Network, Backup, SAP Functional) based on troubleshooting requirement. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Proactive system monitoring and actions to avoid outages, troubleshoot issues, and manage multiple SAP systems within the landscape. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Reviewing SAP Security vulnerabilities and implementing the corrections as per the SAP notes. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Knowledge of different SAP systems like S4HANA, BW, BTP, PI, BO, APO, Solution Manager, SAP Cloud Connector etc. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Backup and disaster recovery. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Configure and troubleshoot printers in the SAP environment to ensure smooth operations. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Oversee transport management and interfaces, ensuring proper connectivity with other SAP and Non-SAP systems. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Document support activities, track changes, and manage the process for changes; prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents to prevent recurrence. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure alignment of SAP systems with business objectives and compliance with organizational standards, policies, and procedures. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensuring compliance with SLAs, managing on-call support schedules, and maintaining 24/7 operational availability.</span></p></li></ul>
