About this role

Discovery Isle Preschool is seeking a loving and attentive Infant Lead Teacher to join our team. Our infant program provides a safe, nurturing environment where the youngest learners can explore, grow, and reach important developmental milestones — all while feeling secure and supported.

As an Infant Lead Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Provide a warm, responsive, and engaging classroom experience that supports each child’s individual needs.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with families through daily communication and care updates.
  • Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment where infants can develop curiosity, confidence, and early learning skills.
  • Collaborate with your teaching team to maintain consistent routines, meet licensing standards, and uphold our school’s commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old and have one of the following:
    • Completed 6 Core ECE Units in Early Childhood Education and be enrolled in the remaining 6 Core ECE Units, including 3 Infant/Toddler units. 
    • an awarded CDA in Infant Toddler.
  • 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center.
  • Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
  • A nurturing personality with patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with babies.
  • Authorization to work in the United States
