As Manager for Consumer Business Development, you will help build Spotify’s presence across the global TV ecosystem. You’ll work closely with leading smart TV and streaming device partners to build best-in-class experiences for Spotify users on the big screen.


This role blends relationship development, contractual negotiation support, and deep collaboration across technology and business teams.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and grow global partner relationships with leading TV and connected device platforms
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partners’ needs, while defining and executing long-term partner strategies that bring value to Spotify users around the world 
  • Assist in negotiating and reviewing contractual agreements with TV and connected device partners, while also operationally executing the contracts to ensure both Spotify’s and Partner’s commitments are delivered (e.g. product integrations, reporting)
  • Build deep relationships across partner organizations, from product and engineering to business and marketing, interfacing regularly with global teams via calls, video conferences, and in-person meetings
  • Work with Product and Engineering teams to define and support app distribution strategies and integrations with TV platforms
  • Coordinate cross-functionally internally with Legal, Licensing, Product, Technology, Marketing, Content, and Premium teams
  • Identify new opportunities to scale partnerships, drive user acquisition and engagement, and unlock additional value for Spotify and partners
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and be an expert on the TV ecosystem, connected devices, and streaming technology
  • Represent the voice of our TV partners within Spotify.


Who You Are
  • Experience in partnerships, business development, or a similar field, ideally within the TV, consumer electronics, or app distribution ecosystem
  • Ideally work with agreements and frameworks such as NDAs, licensing structures, or distribution deals, and you feel comfortable supporting contractual negotiations and operationalizing agreements that include both business and technical terms
  • Ability to build strong, genuine relationships and communicate with clarity. You have worked with cross-functional teams and value environments where collaboration, openness, and shared problem-solving are central to success
  • Organized, curious, steady in your approach, and motivated by crafting solutions that work well for partners and users alike. You’re proficient in written and spoken English


Where You’ll Be
  • This role is based in our New York office
  • We offer flexibility so you can work where you work best. While some in-person meetings will take place, you will also have the option to work from home

The United States base range for this position is $143,511 to $205,015, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
