Job Description

In April 2022, Sportradar acquired Vaix, a company who creates deeply integrated and powerful corporate AI solutions, enabling B2C internet businesses to utilize the power of machine learning for their customers and operations.

Who we are

  • VAIX is on a mission to use AI to transform human capability and business opportunity in online gaming. We are a subsidiary of Sportradar, means lots of data to play with.
  • First to market, we brought Netflix and Spotify to online gaming, and acquired by Sportradar in 2022, we are looking for innovative people to keep us on the forefront of the industry.
  • Our journey began in online gaming, where we leverage the extraordinarily rich data flows and our deep vertical knowledge of that space to transform entertainment and loyalty. Thanks to our union with Sportradar we can use the industry’s biggest source of data to create products and interfaces that are more dynamic and exciting because they are deeply personalized.

What we do

  • We are building a wide range of Machine Learning algorithms; domain-specific Recommendation engines, human behavior predictive models and Natural Language Processing model.

We are looking for a passionate SENIOR DATA ANALYST data analyst with excellent statistics and SQL skills to join our technical team. The role also includes business intelligence and team leading responsibilities. This is a senior-level role, so individuals with related working experience or exceptional educational background are encouraged to apply.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Extract, transform, and validate large-scale datasets from multiple sources using SQL, ensuring data quality and integrity for accurate analysis
  • Build compelling customer-facing dashboards that visualize key performance indicators, product engagement metrics, and business outcomes
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and ML teams to define success metrics, prioritize feature development, and drive data-informed decision, while strengthening the team's analytical capabilities through regular knowledge exchanges

ABOUT YOU:

  • Bachelor degree in Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent
  • SQL expertise - Your primary tool for extracting insights from millions of data points that shape product strategy
  • 2+ years analytics experience - You've developed the judgment to balance analytical rigor with business velocity
  • iGaming expertise (strong plus) - you understand how player segments behave, what metrics matter, and why regulatory considerations affect our analytics
  • Bonus points if You're comfortable with Python or R for when SQL isn't enough—building predictive models, automating reports, or running advanced statistical tests
  • Strong "get things done the right way" attitude
  • Learning and growth mindset - technology and business evolve, Vaix's products expand, and new analytical challenges emerge constantly - your growth determines your long-term impact
  • Excellent English and communication skills in spoken and written forms

OUR OFFER:

  • A collaborative environment with colleagues from all over the world (Offices in Europe, Asia and US) including various social events and teambuilding.

  • Flexible working hours in a hybrid setting.

While we appreciate the flexibility and benefits of working from home, we strongly believe that coming together in person fosters stronger connections, encourages collaboration, and drives innovation—both as individuals and as a company. The energy, shared ideas, and team support we experience in the office strengthen the foundation of our success and culture. For this reason, we are an office-first business operating on a hybrid model, with team members working in the office three days a week to build relationships, exchange ideas, and grow together.
