SplashDown Beach is seeking a reliable entry-level Maintenance Assistant Technician to join our team at a fast-paced, family-friendly water park. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and will receive hands-on training in pool maintenance, water chemistry, and minor electrical and plumbing work. This role is essential to keeping our attractions safe, clean, and operating smoothly for our guests. This position assists in performing preventative maintenance on a routine basis. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with routine maintenance and basic repairs of pools, slides, and park facilities
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
• Inspect attractions and equipment to ensure guest safety
• Conduct daily safety inspections and preventative maintenance
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
• Keep work areas clean and follow all safety procedures
• Assist with seasonal opening and closing tasks and property maintenance

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous maintenance, mechanical, or facilities experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems is preferred
• Experience using a variety of both hand and power tools
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must be dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders and in confined spaces
• Pool or Water Park experience a plus. Training will be provided to the right candidate
