As a Reward Analyst is to research, analyse and provide insights on Reward which support and deliver the People strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building reward models by manipulating and analysing large complex sets of data from both internal and external sources to provide insights which will support decision making.
  • Preparing models for variable pay scenarios to understand and provide insight of potential outcomes.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of the job grading architecture ensuring that the framework is fit for purpose.
  • Leading on compensation and benefit survey planning and submissions ensuring that jobs are appropriately benchmarked.
  • Providing analytic support throughout the annual reward cycle including salary surveys, extraction and analysis of benchmarking data, creation of salary ranges, modelling and calculations of the salary review as well as being a point of contact for queries.
  • Supporting with the design and review of Reward policies incorporating stakeholder feedback whilst keeping a lens on external trends and regulatory developments and working with the wider People Team to embed Reward policy into Spire ways of working and processes.
  • Supporting pay equity and transparency initiatives
  • Contributing to the development of total reward statements and employee communications to enhance understanding and engagement
  • Providing operational support to the team by addressing employee queries, managing shared inboxes, and performing data validation
  • Preparing high quality reports and recommendations to support management decision making

Key Requirements:

  • Highly Numerate with a passion for data, analysis and statistics, simplifying complex problems and developing recommendations
  • Self-starter, able to assimilate information from multiple sources and proactively formulate a solution
  • Experienced Reward Analyst with a focus on compensation and reward analytics such as CEO Pay ratio, Equal Pay, pay modelling and benchmarking.
  • Experience of working in a cross functional remote team. The role holder will need to be able to work with and across HR Shared Services, Payroll, HR and third party vendors in order to ensure smooth reward administration. The role holder will need to be confident communicating across email, telephone, Zoom and in person.
  • Methodical and able to work to deadlines ensuring that work is accurate and quality checked with the ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Experience of job evaluation methodology such as Willis Towers Watson or PayData.
  • Highly Advanced Excel Skills, experience of macro preparation, databases and Power BI or equivalent
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle
  • Uses feedback and learning to continuously improve analytical work and presentational skills
