Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and professional CDL Driver & Warehouse Associate to support our logistics operations. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers, as well as assisting with warehouse operations when not on delivery routes. This is a hands-on role that requires strong time management, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Duties:

• Operate company vehicles to deliver and collect packages across assigned routes.

• Follow delivery schedules, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

• Load and unload cargo with care and secure goods in the vehicle.

• Obtain delivery confirmations, signatures, and complete required documentation.

• Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs.

• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety protocols.

• Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding deliveries or delays.

Warehouse Duties (when not driving):

• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and sorting incoming shipments.

• Pick, pack, and label orders for delivery or shipping.

• Load/unload delivery vehicles and organize inventory.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

• Perform stock counts and inventory checks as needed.

• Help prepare orders for outgoing shipments or deliveries.

• Use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and scanners.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license (with appropriate CDL license class for the vehicle being operated).

• Clean driving record with no major violations.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

• Prior experience as a delivery driver and/or warehouse associate is an asset.

• Ability to lift and move packages up to [weight limit] lbs.

• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety standards.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using handheld scanners or logistics software.

• Familiarity with local delivery routes and traffic patterns.

• Forklift certification (a plus but not required).

• Flexible with work hours, including evenings or weekends when needed.

Working Conditions:

• Split time between driving and warehouse duties.

• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions during deliveries.

• Standing, lifting, bending, and moving packages in a warehouse environment.
