SPATCO Energy Solutions is looking for an Arkansas-registered Professional Engineer (PE) to join our Environmental Division in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The applicants should have experience (4 to 5 years’ experience) working in the environmental, mechanical, or civil engineering fields. Senior-level duties will include: management of existing environmental assessment and remediation projects; field investigation support and project oversight; preparation and review of technical documents; cost estimating; in-house assistance to other environmental division professionals; and liaison activities with regulatory agencies.
Essential Functions
- Develop, write, and implement environmental projects from the conceptual phase through completion.
- Assess customer needs and present alternative solutions to complex problems
- Act as liaison between clients and regulatory agencies
- Work with multi-disciplinary project teams of scientists, engineers, geologists, and field personnel
- Project cost estimating
- Develop detailed design drawings
- Manage subcontractors and vendors to verify conformance with scopes of work
Experience, Competencies, and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
- Some overnight travel is required
- Ability to pass a drug screen & background check for this position
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Must be detail oriented.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Work outside during all types of weather.
- Work under time constraints efficiently and have the ability to work well with others.

- Keep company vehicle clean, maintenance done regular, and only use for company business.
