 General Purpose of Job:  


The Senior Clinical Informatics Analyst oversees clinical informatics architecture, ensuring alignment with clinical goals and regulatory standards. This role emphasizes strategic planning, data governance, and optimizing informatics processes to enhance patient care.


Essential Duties:


This job description is intended to cover the minimum essential duties assigned on a regular basis.  Team members may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by their leader.  Leadership has the right to alter or modify the duties of the position.



  • Design and oversee clinical informatics architecture, aligning it with organizational and clinical goals.

  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues, implementing long-term solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with senior clinical leadership to support resource planning and informatics strategies.

  • Lead initiatives to improve clinical data integrity, performance, and security.







Job Requirements





















General Requirements None
Work Experience • Must be highly proficient in clinical informatics, with experience in strategic planning
Education • Required: High school diploma and a minimum of 9 years of clinical informatics experience OR Associates degree computer science, IT or related field and a minimum of 7 years of clinical informatics experience OR Bachelors degree in computer science, IT or related field and a minimum of 5 year of clinical informatics experience
Specialized Knowledge and Skills • Expert-level knowledge of clinical informatics, data governance, and workflow optimization. • Strategic planning and project management skills. • Familiarity with healthcare compliance and standards in clinical data management.
