POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and optimizing Shoreside Enterprise Applications. . This role combines technical systems analysis with cruise industry business expertise to ensure systems effectively support critical business functions including Finance/Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, Supply Chain, Contact Center, Marketing, Sales, etc This position will be integral to maintaining system performance, supporting users, analyzing business requirements, and driving continuous improvement across the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· System Support and Administration

  • Provide technical support for shoreside enterprise applications across the company, troubleshooting system issues and coordinating with vendors when necessary.
  • Configure and maintain system settings, user access, workflows, and business rules to support operational requirements.
  • Monitor system performance, identify optimization opportunities, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and user experience.

· Business Analysis and Requirements Management

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders across departments (Finance, Legal, HR, Contact Center, Sales, Marketing) to gather, analyze, and document system requirements.
  • Translate business needs into system configurations and functional specifications, ensuring applications support evolving operational demands.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current system capabilities and business requirements, recommending solutions and process improvements.

· Integration Management

  • Support and maintain integrations between shoreside and shipboard applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
  • Coordinate with IT teams and vendors to troubleshoot integration issues and implement new system connections as needed.
  • Monitor data integrity across integrated systems and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate business information.

· Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Utilize reporting tools to extract, analyze, and interpret system data to support business decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to provide operational insights to stakeholders.
  • Conduct data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy of system information and reports.

· User Training and Support

  • Provide training and documentation for shoreside and shipboard users on system functionality and best practices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for user inquiries, providing timely and effective support to resolve system issues.
  • Develop user guides, training materials, and knowledge base articles to facilitate system adoption and proficiency.

· Project Coordination and Testing

  • Participate in system upgrade projects, enhancements, and new module implementations.
  • Conduct system testing (functional, integration, and user acceptance testing) to ensure changes meet requirements and quality standards.
  • Coordinate deployment activities and provide post-implementation support to ensure successful system changes.

· Process Improvement and Documentation

  • Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and improve system utilization across departments.
  • Maintain comprehensive system documentation including configurations, workflows, integration specifications, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay current with product updates and industry best practices to recommend enhancements that support business objectives.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous Enterprise Application Support experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in systems analysis or business analysis supporting enterprise applications.
  • Understanding of cruise industry business operations (Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Contact Center, etc)
  • Familiarity with enterprise applications and environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and listen. The employee can also be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. This is a full-time, exempt position and may exceed 40 hours per week. Scheduled days and hours of work are determined by the need for coverage of the employees with the need to flexibly cover all operational hours up to and including closing hours and weekends/holidays as needed.
