Salary: Up to £52,000 depending on experience

You’ll join our high-performing Planning & Controls team, supporting the delivery of our capital maintenance programmes. This is a business-critical role where you’ll help ensure projects run on time, within budget, and meet contractual and operational standards.
What you will be responsible for:
- Create and manage schedules in P6, ensuring alignment with Southern Water’s internal planning standards
- Collaborate with contractors to agree updates and changes before formal submission
- Ensure compliance with NEC contract requirements and support the management of compensation events
- Engage with delivery teams and stakeholders to gather updates and maintain schedule accuracy
- Represent Planning in meetings with senior internal stakeholders and external partners
- Champion communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
Additional Requirements:
- All shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a P6 test as part of the interview process
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential
- At least 5 years’ experience in a planning role, ideally within infrastructure or utilities
- Strong P6 skills (or similar planning software)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset
Desirable
- Experience in the water sector
- Familiarity with NEC contract requirements
